About my credentials

With over three decades of experience, my teaching journey began at the University of the Fraser Valley, where I graduated in Adult Learning and Education. This foundation led to a career spanning more than 20 years as an adult educator at a private post-secondary college. My natural inclination towards supporting others in their personal growth has always driven me. For the past 12 years I've focused on the study of mental health, well-being, and the healing power of nature and animals. My involvement in wildlife photography sparked a deeper connection with nature, leading me to a 2 year volunteer project at a birds of prey conservation organization. I expanded my understanding of Nature Therapy/Nature Immersion by attending courses in various locations including Sedona, the Red Rock Canyon, Joshua Tree National Park, the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, the Redwood Forest in California, the Oregon coast, and of course British Columbia Canada. This diverse education profoundly shaped my approach to Nature Therapy and my business model. Over the years I have studied Wildlife Comparative Psychology,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)  at the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology, and Positive Psychology (PERMA) at Stanford University in California as well conflict resolution at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Studying under Martha Beck and collaborating with other professionals in Coaching, psychology, Nature-Based Therapy and Forest Therapy has all greatly enriched my business model.

My commitment is to share the knowledge and tools I've gathered over the years and to introduce people to a natural way to decrease stress and cope with life's challenges, Improve physical and mental health, awaken the creativity within and reconnection to Nature.
