About my credentials
Â

Â
With over three decades of experience, my teaching journey began at the University of the Fraser Valley, where I graduated in Adult Learning and Education. This foundation led to a career spanning more than 20 years as an adult educator at a private post-secondary college. My natural inclination towards supporting others in their personal growth has always driven me. For the past 12 years I've focused on the study of mental health, well-being, and the healing power of nature and animals.
Upon returning to Canada, I took a deep dive into the healing benefits of British Columbia's diverse landscapes—its rainforests, lakes, mountains, and open terrains—which has been integral for the business model of the Nature Immersion Retreat Centers and Internal Reign Nature Therapy. Over the years I have studied Wildlife Comparative Psychology,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) at the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology, and Positive Psychology (PERMA) at Stanford University in California as well conflict resolution at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Studying under Martha Beck and collaborating with other professionals in Coaching, psychology, Nature-Based Therapy and Forest Therapy has all greatly enriched my business model.
My commitment is to share the knowledge and tools I've gathered over the years and to introduce people to a natural way to combat stress and life's challenges.
